Recording Techniques: Microphone types, placement, and capturing sound in studios or on location
Mixing and Mastering: Balancing audio tracks, adding effects, and preparing final audio for release
Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs): Software like Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, FL Studio
Audio Editing: Cutting, arranging, and cleaning up audio using editing tools
Technical Knowledge
Sound Theory: Acoustics, frequencies, signal flow, and the physics of sound
Electronics and Equipment: Audio cables, mixers, preamps, EQs, compressors, and analog vs. digital gear
MIDI and Synthesis: Creating sound using electronic instruments and virtual synthesizers
Applied Sound Production
