Cutting Techniques: Trimming, splicing, and assembling shots to create a smooth narrative
Storytelling & Pacing: Making emotional, visual, and narrative choices that support the script or concept
Visual & Sound Design
Color Correction & Grading: Adjusting colors to set mood or match scenes
Sound Editing: Syncing dialogue, cleaning up audio, and adding sound effects
Music & Sound Design: Incorporating score, ambient sound, and effects to enhance storytelling
Visual Effects (VFX) Basics: Green screen, compositing, and motion graphics (sometimes taught alongside editing)
