Each year, the Black Girl Beauty Foundation brings joy, hope, and holiday cheer to children and families in need through our Annual Holiday Toy Drive. With the support of our partners, sponsors, and community members, we collect and distribute toys, books, and gifts to ensure every child feels seen, supported, and celebrated during the holiday season. This heartfelt initiative reflects our commitment to giving back, building community, and spreading love one family at a time.

Our Quarterly Showcase Events celebrate the talent, growth, and achievements across the Black Girl Beauty ecosystem. These vibrant community gatherings feature student showcases, career day, graduations, job fairs, apprentice program exhibitions, indoor/outdoor vendor markets, and fashion shows. Families, businesses, and community partners come together to shop, network, hire, collaborate, and support the next generation of beauty, arts, and trades professionals.

Our Annual Women’s Retreat is a powerful, restorative experience designed exclusively for women from all walks of life. Each year, we gather at an inclusive, peaceful destination where women from around the world come together to reset, recharge, and rise. Through workshops, bonding activities, deep conversations, and moments of reflection, we create a safe space for healing, empowerment, sisterhood, and renewed purpose. This retreat is where women pour into themselves, uplift one another, and return home inspired and transformed.

Our Annual Business Summit brings together entrepreneurs, industry leaders, innovators, and community partners for a dynamic day of learning, collaboration, and growth. Through powerful keynote speakers, expert panels, networking sessions, and business-building workshops, attendees gain the tools, insights, and inspiration needed to elevate their brands and prepare for the year ahead. in-person youth boot camp
Our Youth Boot Camp (ages 10–17) is a powerful, hands-on training experience designed to introduce young people to beauty, performing arts, leadership, and real-world career skills. This interactive one-day program builds confidence, creativity, discipline, and teamwork while giving youth a fun and inspiring look into future career pathways. We introduce hair, braiding, nails, skin care and so much more that’s life changing! Our youth will leave feeling like inspired young entrepreneurs. IN-PERSON HAIR BRAIDING
Our In-Person Hair Braiding Program is a comprehensive, hands-on training experience designed to teach students (ages 16 & up) the professional techniques, speed, and confidence needed to become a skilled braider in today’s beauty industry. This powerful program goes far beyond basic styling. Students learn sanitation, client consultations, parting, tension control, product knowledge, business setup, pricing strategies, and real-world salon etiquette.
