Since the age of 4 years old Uniquia’s been writing, reciting books and modeling.
Founded by Uniquia Manigault, the Performing Arts & Entertainment Academy was created to inspire, educate, and empower the next generation of creative talent. Built on Uniquia’s passion for the arts and her commitment to opening doors for underrepresented voices, the academy provides a dynamic space where students can discover, develop, and showcase their gifts and learn to be their authentic selves.
The academy offers training and experiences in:
- Acting & Theatre Arts – stage performance, character development, and production.
- Modeling & Fashion – runway, print, and personal brand development.
- Poetry & Creative Expression – writing, performing, and spoken word artistry.
- Dance & Movement – foundational skills in performance and choreography.
- Music & Stage Presence – vocal performance, presentation, and creative confidence.
- Fashion Designs – Learning to create your own designs to fit your own personality.
Uniquia’s Performing Arts Academy blends education, mentorship, and performance opportunities, helping students turn their creativity into lifelong confidence and professional pathways. Rooted in excellence and self-expression, it stands as a stage for students to rise, shine, and lead through the arts.
PROGRAMS OFFERED
YOUTH BOOTCAMP
Our one-day (in-person) bootcamp for ages 10-17 combines beauty & performing arts education with entrepreneurship and personal development in a supportive environment that celebrates diversity and individual growth.
Led by experienced mentors and industry professionals, participants master skills in hair, nails, skin, braids, modeling, acting, poetry, and business while building unshakeable confidence.
PRE-APPRENTICESHIPS
Our 9-month Performing Arts pre-apprentice program for ages 12-18 offers modeling, acting, poetry & fashion designs with entrepreneurship and personal development in a supportive environment that celebrates diversity and individual growth.
Led by experienced mentors and industry experts this program gives you direct entry to our Performing Arts Registered Apprentice Program. Participants are paid a stipend.

Step into the spotlight with our 6-week Performing Arts Industry Program, where creativity meets confidence. Students explore the exciting worlds of modeling, acting, poetry, and fashion design while developing stage presence, communication skills, and artistic expression. Through hands-on projects, live showcases, and mentorship from industry professionals, participants gain the tools and confidence to perform, create, and lead in the entertainment and fashion industries.

At Black Girl Beauty Apprenticeship Programs School, we provide a supportive and challenging environment that fosters academic excellence, personal growth, and lifelong learning. This program is an amazing experience that will kickstart your future into Theatre Arts learning from some of the best industry leaders. $375 for 2 hrs|2-hr minimum. $100 per additional hour. This price includes set up, break down, fun props to choose from, custom branding and a dedicated attendant to assist with a smooth operation and sharing. Each option offers customizable branding features to showcase your brand and engage your audience. Perfect illumination for professional-grade videos. $350 for 2 hrs|2-hr minimum. This price includes set up, break down, fun props to choose from, custom branding and a dedicated attendant to assist with a smooth operation and sharing. The Unique photo booth sets itself apart as a cut above the rest, allowing you to create a loop or boomerang of your favorite pictures, transforming them into a unique and shareable photos. And with the option to customize backgrounds, borders, and more, you’ll have a one-of-a-kind creation that truly stands out which creates a unique expression of your personality and style.

UNIQUE MYSTERIES
$300 for 2 hr|Unique Mysteries Activity. Unique Mysteries has over 25 years of experience in parties and events, so it’s safe to say she knows how to host a mystery party. She specializes in giving parties the touch of mystery they’ve been missing. From the moment your guests walk in the door, Uniquia’s mystery begins with a unique touch that will set your event apart from any other. From her unique poetry to her hosting & acting skills, Uniquia gives your audience something great to go out and share with others! With unique surprises, and special touches, you’ll be the talk of the town once this event is over! Partner with us to turn an average get-together into an affordable and unforgettable experience everyone can be a part of!

HOSTING
$400 1st 2 hours|2 hr minimum. Uniquia will host your event from the beginning to the end ensuring that everything runs smoothly and stays on schedule. She will follow your program outline and keep your guests happy, enthused and sitting at the edge of their seats for the next moment to arise…
UNIQUE POETRY
$100 for two poetry performances in a 30-minute block. $250 for five poetry performances in a 1-hour block. Uniquia’s poetry will meet the needs of your special occasion. This special touch to your event will set you apart. She also creates special poetry customed for your event at an additional cost.
FASHION SHOW
$500 for a 1-hour fashion show. Looking to add a fashion show to your event? Book Uniquia and her fashion show team to come in and electrify your event with her youth models and/or adult models, Uniquia has them trained and ready to go! She will manage every aspect of the runway show, including model casting, styling, choreography, music, and backstage coordination.
