Uniquia Manigault

Uniquia Manigault is a third-generation entrepreneur, multi-disciplinary artist, media personality, and visionary leader whose work bridges performing arts, media, education, entrepreneurship, and community transformation.

Raised as a latchkey child inside her mother’s beauty salon, Uniquia was immersed early in professionalism, creativity, and service. By age four she was answering phones and assisting clients; by ten she was shampooing and braiding hair while observing firsthand how confidence, presentation, and communication shape opportunity. Long before middle school, she was already performing poetry, storytelling, and modeling—developing a powerful voice and presence that would define her career.

Her passion for performance led her into formal training as a graduate of the Tri-Cities High School Theatre Arts Magnet Program in East Point, Georgia. She later earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from Clark Atlanta University, laying the foundation for a professional career as an actress, poet, model, comedian, entertainer, host, and public speaker. She is widely recognized for her commanding stage presence, authenticity, and ability to connect deeply with diverse audiences.

Expanding her impact beyond the stage, Uniquia is the creator and host of Chitter Chatter, a talk show centered on conversation, culture, creativity, and community. Through Chitter Chatter, she blends performance, storytelling, and media to amplify voices, spark dialogue, and create space for expression, humor, and truth—further establishing her as a leader in Performing Arts & Media.

As an education entrepreneur, Uniquia is the Founder & CEO of the Black Girl Beauty Performing Arts School, where she leads innovative programming that integrates performing arts, media exposure, Career and Technical Education (CTE), career exploration, pre-apprenticeship, and apprenticeship pathways in Theatre Arts and Creative Media. Her programs prepare youth and adults not only to perform—but to pursue sustainable careers in the creative and media industries.

She is also the Founder & Creative Director of I AM UNIQUIA Co., a creative enterprise rooted in performance, media, storytelling, and personal empowerment. A published author of two poetry books, Uniquia has written hundreds of poems, scripts, and creative concepts centered on healing, identity, confidence, and purpose.

In addition, she serves as Co-Founder of the Black Girl Beauty Brand and Black Girl Beauty Foundation (501(c)(3)), where she created Uniquia’s Theatre Arts Teen Scholarship Program, expanding access to performing arts and media-aligned education for inner-city youth. She manages all media, hosts all events and showcases partners through the Chitter Chatter Talk Show Platform for The Black Girl Beauty Brand.
