His presence represents legacy, excellence, and the continued advancement of Black-owned beauty education. Joe is currently The Million $ Black Business Strategist – where he helps business owners fund their million $ projects. He’s also the Author of “What’s My E-style” He’ll have copies available for signing at the event.

We are also honored to welcome Dr. Derrick A. Pledger from Cleveland, OH. Dr. Pledger is a Bowling Coach and the Founder/CEO of Advanced Concepts in Personal Development, LTD. His journey is extraordinary—after losing both parents by the age of 12 and dropping out of high school, he earned his GED, joined the military, attended college, and ultimately became a professor who now travels the world teaching at colleges and universities. He is also the author of “A Leadership Trait a Day”, and he will have copies available for signing at the event.
