What Is The Youth Beauty Bootcamp?
The Youth Beauty Bootcamp is a co-ed, hands-on career exploration experience designed for youth interested in beauty, barbering, grooming, skincare, nail care, hair braiding, and creative professional pathways.
This immersive experience introduces students to multiple areas of the beauty and wellness industry while building confidence, professionalism, and career awareness. The bootcamp often serves as a gateway to advanced programs, mentorship, and future career opportunities.

ABOUT THE YOUTH BOOT CAMP:
BGB “RISE UP” Youth Boot Camp is a one-day intro to beauty & performing arts camp that aims to provide inner city youth with hands-on education in beauty, modeling and fashion designs. Through a one-day intensive day camp, campers will learn from industry professionals and collaborate with their peers on original projects in beauty and performing arts. Campers will be inspired to pursue careers in these industries.
Come join us for an exciting and fun-filled event where young talents aged 10-18 can showcase their performing arts skills and learn all about beauty! This in-person boot camp tour designed to provide a platform for budding artists to shine on stage and discover their inner star power.
During this boot camp tour, participants will have the opportunity to attend workshops and masterclasses led by industry performing arts professional Uniquia Manigault and industry beauty professional Amanda Manigault. From beauty to acting and poetry to fashion design and modeling, we’ll cover it all! Our experienced instructors will guide and inspire participants to unlock their potential and develop their talents.
Participants have the opportunity to choose to learn about performing arts or beauty. Both classes come together for some peer discussions on entrepreneurship, professional development and more as they explore the world of beauty & the arts. Our beauty experts will share tips and tricks on hair, nails & skin. While our performing arts experts will share skills on modeling, acting, fashion design, poetry, writing, and how to become an author. Participants will leave with newfound confidence, knowledge and learning material to pursue these amazing career pathways.
